General Session

The NILUG general session will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the River of Friends Church in Post Falls, ID. The meeting starts at 1pm and runs until about 4pm.

We are currently doing a series of talks about choosing, installing and using Linux. The talks are oriented towards the novice Linux user. The talk that was postponed from May and will be done for this meeting will be “Learning Linux, Part 2 – Using the Linux GUI”.

Technical Session

The NILUG technical session will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the F1 For Help Computer Store in Rathdrum, ID. The technical session is devoted to helping new and old users with installations and configuration of Linux on their computers. We will also answer questions about Linux for anyone at this meeting.
