The February of the North Idaho Linux Users Group will be held on Saturday, 9 February at the American Legion Hall in Post Falls. The meeting will start at noon.

The meeting will have a new feature – a formal Question and Answer session. Store up your Linux questions and bring them to the meeting. Let the users with more experience try to solve your problems.

This month’s meeting will also feature a review of two different low-end Linux-based notebook computers. If you are interested in those kind of machines, you should definitely attend.

The first meeting of 2008 of the North Idaho Linux Users Group will be held on Saturday, 12 January at the American Legion Hall in Post Falls. The meeting will start at noon.

The hall has facilities for Internet access, primarily by wireless. Anyone who has an interest in replacing Vista with an operating system that actually works is invited to attend. We will answer questions, show you what Linux is all about, or even help you install it.
