June Meeting Change
The June NILUG meeting will be held a week early, on 3 June. This takes cares of a scheduling conflict by our kind host, Frank Ten Thy. Thanks again for putting up with us, Frank.

NILUG May Meeting
The next meeting of the North Idaho Linux User Group will be held on Saturday, 13 May 2006 at the usual time and place. We had a good turnout at the last meeting, and hope to duplicate that at the upcoming meeting. Many thanks to Frank for the veggies and Chris for the pizza.
The Open SUSE organization has announced the release of the first Release Candidate for SUSE 10.1. Several major packages have been updated and many problems have been fixed.
We will be testing this release in the next few weeks, and will post our thoughts and conclusions.
Site Change
We have changed the posting policy on this web site. Only site members are now allowed to post comments. Hopefully, this will reduce the amount of spam postings we have seen in the last month (which I have already removed.)
Happy April Fools
And keep that date in mind when you read Windows Hasta La Vista – Ironclad Security, an interesting review of the latest Microsoft opus.
Enjoy your weekend. We hope to see you at our monthly meeting, next Saturday, 8 April, 2006 at the regular time and place.
